Approach
Start with the friction, not the tech.
Start with the friction, not the tech. Every hackathon started with the temptation to ask which API to use. By the end the opening question was who is frustrated, and why.
Vertical slicing before shared code. Each teammate owned an isolated directory, so no two people touched the same file. Coordination lives in communicated decisions, not chance.
The output is the product. A heat map nobody understands helps nobody. Polish is what turns data into something people actually feel.
